The day the kids dress up
In costumes
And go trick-or-treating
At strangers' homes
All through the night
Ghosts came from the graves
And visit us
Tomorrow is the Day of the Dead
Taken place in Mexico
And before you know it
You'll have your former relatives'
Favorite food
And light up candles
In hopes that the ghosts thank us
In exchange for trick-or-treat candies
And splendid gifts
Flickering lights flicker
On a scary night
To pretend as a haunted house
In hopes that we drive the kids off
Into the middle of nowhere
